Treatment
I have had my treatment done for a few days but forgot to post it to my blog.
Also, I have shown my Script-Writing to my class and a man called Duncan Sarties. Duncan has had a lot of experience with story creating and writing.
Here is my current treatment and logline, I might upgrade it yet.
Logline: The classic love story between a little robot and a camera.
Treatment:
The light
and bright yellow sun shines as a little robot sits in the field holding a
camera. The robot is happily beeping away to the camera as if alive. Robot picks
up some flowers and presents them to the camera. The robot smiles lovingly into
the camera, then looks up and rushes off into the distance.
Both
robot and camera now sitting on a hill, camera suddenly falls sideways onto
robot. Although surprised, robot bashfully/shyly hugs camera in response.
Wandering
further into the lush field, robot spots two unique objects intertwining. Robot
contemplates the objects then glances at camera, thinking about them together.
Shocked by imagining the possibilities, robot quickly dashes away before camera
can see.
Whilst
standing on the edge of the world robot, overjoyed with natures beauty, reaches
for camera and twirls around and around while the sun lights up the air.
The sun
suddenly disappears as robot spots an old rusty tool laying in the grass.
Expressionless, robot has a sudden flashback to negative memories thought to be
deleted.
Distorted
reflections of two robots deeply in love under the moon flash before robot’s
eyes. One robot is suddenly being taken? No, dragged and vanishes from the
other robot’s view. The robot left cries desperately longing for the others
return. Abruptly, the light given off from the missing robot is now shining
from the box of a camera.
The suns
return indicates the end of the flashback. Robot faces camera looking at
camera’s light. Robot smiles coyly and cuddles camera close as the bright
evening sun silhouettes the two.
