A Head in class
I think I got a little A Head In Class
(You'll see the pun soon)
I decided that, since I am building a robot character, that I should be doing the robot in class instead of a human in class.
So, I got some advice from tutor Chris and got given a really good YouTube video about how to model the basics of a face/head in Maya. It may be old but the logic behind it still applies. I even got told that tutor Rachel might show this clip.
Already having a little more knowledge in Maya (only with how to group objects together and how to stitch them together into one) I thought that I should give it a try. I got a basic face off a google search (sorry for copyrights to the person) and shaped a basic face. I knew that the head would result in being pointed where it joins at the nose, forehead and mouth (it did) so I think that it went well.
Note to self, get a much better quality image. I have learned why I must now (it was so hard)

Here is what I did in my spare time.
The YouTube Video
This is what I have from working at home. I look forward to improving from here inwards. Now you can see how I got A Head... Yep. Pun intended :)
