Moodboard

I have looking into different animations that I can use as artist models.
Many I looked into field settings or lighting I liked and will look to try.
I have chosen Howl's Moving Castle, Studio Ghibli. Wolf children, Mamoru Hosoda. And Your Name, Makoto Shinkai. Also, I have some real fields I will use for inspiration.

Howl's Moving Castle
I love Howl's moving castle. I like the bright sky, the subtle coloured flowers and the rich atmosphere. Though the water is really well done, I am not looking into the water aspect. I am looking into the flowers and grass dancing in the wind and how the characters move around in the field. I also like how a field can show both calm and love, it can also show despair and war with darker colours.

Wolf Children
I like wolf children for both the amazing story and character development, but also for the amazing detail put into the scenery around the characters. I also really like the style of animation and aim to achieve this level of skill. I inspire to have a similar mood in the fields when the mother is meting her husband once again after a long time, the soft and calm, love filled air.

Your Name
I will never forget the plot twist that changed my life. Amazing. With this model, I was looking more at the sky that the actual scenery. Though there are amazing lighting on a open mountain range, the sky is my focus. With amazing stars and meteors to simple yet fantastic clouds, I just generally fell in love and inspired with the sky.

Here are some field inspiration I have found
I live on a farm, so I can also examine the paddocks outside as the day goes by
