Animal Level-up

In drawing class we were tasked with taking an animal and evolving/leveling them up a few hundred years.

We were to also keep in mind

• Why would the animal have changed in that way?
• What sort of food are they eating now?
• What are any more features you have upgraded and why?

I chose a red panda

Here is the first stage

I had changed the red panda to have to change to eat small rodents and other small animals in order to survive. It a few hundred years, I imagined that globe warming would have caused their food that they ate to disappear. This is why the red panda became less cute and cuddly that they were.

I thought that I could do a better job of changing the red panda so I created stage two

Here is stage two

I upgraded the red panda to become more of a threat to be able to catch larger animals to eat. The look a lot more like both the panda and a bear with their now huge arms and sharper teeth. They still have the same tail and facial features but I enlarged the ears a little to match the arms and legs more. Their sharp claws are now pointed more outwards to dig into their pray.

I then added the very basic colour to show that it really is the red panda more
