Upgrading my question

I have been looking at upgrading my question for my research

I first started with the question 'How can I imply different moods or ideas with different colours?'

This question is to vague and doesn't give a clear indication about what I am looking into or at. So, I deiced to refine my question more like what am I gonna have in my short animation and what media. This is the question I came up with

'How can I use colour to demonstrate/create different emotional responses/moods through a 30 second character animation?'

Along with this question, I also went on to list some feelings I could be looking into. Here's the list

    Image result for question information
  • Peaceful/Calm
  • Mysterious
  • Happy
  • Cheerfulness
  • Sad
  • Loneliness
  • Scary
  • Danger
  • Love
  • Childlike
  • Plain
I showed this question to Bex (my tutor) and found that I still had not refined the question enough once again. She then listed some keywords I could use to both refine my question but also to use when finding my research for my work. Here is what she wrote.
  • Single character in a simplified landscape.
  • These are the elements that you can manipulate.
  • Changing colour to reflect atmosphere change. E.g. Happy/Sad. Love/Hate. Calm/Scared.
  • Colour. Is that Hue? Saturation? Or Value? Hue is whether its warm or cold colours. Saturation is if its intensity is strong or washed-out. Value being if the colour is purple or green.
With this new information, I tried to rewrite my question once again, knowing what I must now refine.

'How can I use a singular character in a simplified landscape to reflect different atmosphere changes, e.g. Happy/sad, with changing the colours?'
Note; Yet to finalize how I will use/change the colour, e.g. Hue, saturation, value.
