Topology
I am thinking of Topology
This is when we grid out the body, where the most bends are and how it is shaped to create more movement. With topology, I am basically trying to recreate realistic muscle movements with a hollow character. I may have a robot character but I will take notes with both robot and human characters.
I have now been given a basic modeling lesson from tutor Chris by modeling my robot character in Maya. Now I have a lot more of an idea of how to model. Here is what I have done :)
This is a good first try for me. I am really happy and less nervous about using Maya and making 3D stuff.
But I know, in order for me to get a better idea of how to create 3D models in Maya, I must also create a 3D human character. I will later show what I build
